Printing Costs/ Gas Prices
Let me just say that this class has put a dent into my pocket. Printing all of these projects is far from cheap. I mean damn…. For every Tabloid paper printed is approximately $2.20. We have to print everything twice just in case we screw something up when we get the printout home to mount it. Redoing projects causes us to reprint them again. Printing from phase 3 to 4 to a 5th time is not inexpensive. Printing Costs and GAS PRICES are OUT OF CONTROL. I can’t wait to figure out how much money I spent this semester on this class alone. Let me not forget that we have to pay for matte board each time too. Am I the only person that realizes that everything is priced around to $4.00? Gas, matte boards, paper…. Does our economy love the number 4?
Luckily things are coming back down again ☺ 2 bucks for gas, and printing upstairs is GREAT!

I totally agree. But then again I remembered spending $800 on my final project in art school back in 1994. That was before color printers were accessible, or any good. I did poster size photographs and letrasetted all the copy on it. It was crazy! I am so F-glad that we have color laser printers now. Everything was so painfully manual then...
